Over the years we noticed the BMW badge suffers color loss of the blue and white sections. And that made us think of a solution.
We’re really into repairing stuff and what a bmw would be without its badge. The white and blue symbol of power, rear wheel drive and glorious racing heritage.
We made an exact copies of the contour, produced by the finest 3M material resistant to all known weather conditions and proudly presented by our awesome brochure.
Badge bandage is a simple thing. It’s something that will revive the brilliance of your old, but-still-good-to-be-retired badge.
It’s not suitable for show cars, but could save you some money in any other case.
And it comes for free with each order from 1st of April 2017.
What you’ll need :
– The e28goodies Badge Bandage roundel renewing kit.
– Some fine grid sandpaper (800 or above)
– Precision flat screwdriver. (1 to 1.4 mm)
– degreaser & rag
– Your old emblems.
Disclaimer : That will work only if the black part with the letters is still good (most likely). If not – you probably need some new badges.
We’re starting with the front one. Start sandpapering the paint leftovers untill everything is gone.
Rear one is a bit more difficult,since it got that layer of clear coat. It will take forever if you choose to take it down with rubbing, so we suggest to use a tiny flat screwdriver to peel off the clear coat. And then again sandpaper the paint or what’s left from it.
Degrease both of them really good.
Apply the stickers, following the contours.
Dang, you are good for the next couple of years.
