Floor mounted short throw shifter lever – early/late body version

Dear e28 fans, we are proud to announce, that we take orders for our floor mounted race shifter!

There are two versions of the shifter opening in the car’s sheet metal – round and irregular. It is highly advisable to dublecheck your car’s version before placing your order. Select yours from the drop down menu.

Here are some of it’s features:

CNC precision machined flanges that enable cut and drill free installation, while ensuring a rigid connection to the body’s sheet metal. This design also makes for the option to easily revert to the stock gear lever system leaving no marks and holes.

Spherical bearing virtually fixed to the vehicle’s body – provides for a very sturdy feel of the whole mechanism.

Extremely durable polyurethane dust boot – ensures that no dust or sand particles will shorten the life of the spherical bearing.

Dual ball bearings for the selector rod linkage to be pressed in – an exceptionally tight fit, that eliminates any wobble at that nod.

Dimensions, that enable shorter lever throw, while retaining the stock overall size. In other words you get the race car feeling without sacrificing your factory looking interior.

Flanges are made out of an aluminum alloy with stainless steel fasteners.
The lever is made out of stainless steel.
All the components subject to wear and tear are easily replaceable and reasonably priced.

Forget about huge selector levers and selfcentering towers, that require cutting your centre console, cost 400-500 € or even more and basically do the same – enable the stick to pivot around a single point.
