M30 trigger wheel 60-2 – Motronic and L-jet versions


Well, you can always opt for the stock trigger wheel out of a Motronic 1.3 system, but these are getting hard to find and the tooth shape is not optimal for a lot of the standalones one can utilize.

One option is for M30 engines that used the Motronic 1 before your conversion and have the big pulley damper installed another is if your car has the L-jet M30 and has the smaller pulley – pick yours in the drop down menu.

The wheel is 5mm in thickness and a tight fit – after you clean your pulley damper thoroughly, you throw the toothed ring in the oven to heat it up evenly. With a swift move it is in place and it will wrap securely as it cools down. After that a couple of tacks with a suitable welding apparatus will ensure it’s there to stay.
