It’s 31th of Dec 2015 and we would like to sum up this year.
It’s really hard to say “year”,since e28goodies is almost 3 months old already, but for us the time is passing so fast.
For me personally it feels like yesterday when in the middle of July we were on the phone with Stanislav, discussing the idea of having something small, based on a great idea. To help. To help the e28 fans and enthusiasts all over the world.

Yes, e28goodies.com is not our primary job. It’s not even hobby since we both got project cars.
It’s something really special. Yes, it takes lot of effort and time, but in the end. nothing can compare with the satisfaction of receiving something like this (PM addressed to me @ mye28) :
Recently, I’ve been discussing a goodie shipping with a customer and after quoting the fee he said :
Lot of you probably wonder why and how an oversees shipping can be so cheap.
The key is packaging.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Usually people who are selling stuff on ebay or forums or even our competitors are charging extra for packaging and handling.
Common trick is publishing a “shipped price” or “Free shipping.” . The last makes them look generous.
Unfortunatelly nothing in this world comes for free.
We are not doing this.
If you have been a part from merchandise business, you probably noticed how many things are considered as waste and are going straight to the trash.
Yes, we know having a branded boxes with the e28goodies logo will be something bumping our confidence. But that also means you will have to pay more for a certain goodie. On the other hand buying brand new box, even if it’s not branded, will be easier option for us – but you will have to pay for that too.
No. We are not doing this.
We are collecting used boxes, mostly from all-under-one-roof shops, since they got different sizes. They are as good as new one, but they are free and that means only one thing – you are not paying extra for this.
We showed you in a previous post how we are packaging things and that involves lot of bubble wrap which cost money again.
There is a local company which is importing cosmetics and they got lot of used bubble wrap which is thrown away every single day. It’s clean, it’s good but it’s useless for them. We managed to collect it too, so we can reuse it and save you few more bucks.

Post offices are offering a highly overpriced sheets of paper.
If you are bying box from them is fine, if you are not – you need to spend 5 euro per sheet 150cm x 150 cm so you can wrap your non-post box.
Luckily it turns out you can use whatever paper you want as long as box looks good and clean, without gaps and addresses are clearly readable and distinctive. The cheapest way we found so far are sheets of recycled paper 200 cm x 150 cm at price of 0.40 euro for a sheet.
If we are shipping headlights to you, we will probably need 3 sheets of the paper they sell in the post offices. Imagine how much this will affect the price if we have to charge you 15 euro extra only for the paper.
And because we are e28 enthusiasts and petrolheads just like you – we know best how those saved funds can be spent for gas, parts or something more valuable to you than shiny brand new box, and luxury post paper.
For the past 3 months our customers proved we are doing good and we are taking the right path.
67 orders – 84 goodies shipped to 18 different countries all over the world, excluding the orders from our x-mas sale which are not shipped yet.
This is how we roll. This is our contribution to recycling – reusing stuff which saves you money.
